    • Louisa "Feefe" Powell Sutton, 91, of Sarasota, died Feb. 28, 2004.

      She was born Oct. 20, 1912, in Wheeling, W.Va., and wintered in Sarasota until moving here permanently from Stratford, Conn., in 1988. She was a homemaker. She graduated from West Virginia University and was a member of Sarasota Manatee Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

      Survivors include grandsons Ray B. Burton III of Naugatuck, Conn., and David V. Burton of Putnam, Conn.; a great-grandson; and a niece.

      A private memorial was held Monday. A private burial will be in Wheeling. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge.

      Marlin Sutton Clark, 62, of Madison, Conn., and Sarasota, died Feb. 1, 2004.

      She was born Sept. 28, 1941, in Chicago and began wintering in Sarasota four years ago from Madison. She was a homemaker and a member of Madison Beach Club and First Congregational Church of Madison.

      Survivors include her husband, Robert M.; her mother, Louisa Powell Sutton of Sarasota; sons Raymond B. Burton III of Naugatuck, Conn., and David V. Burton of Putnam, Conn.; and a grandchild.

      No services are planned. Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota, is in charge.

      Marlin Sutton Clark, 62, of Madison, Sarasota, FL, and Coronado, CA, died in her sleep on Sunday, (February 1, 2004) in Sarasota, FL. She was born September 28, 1941, in Chicago, daughter of David VanDorn Sutton and Louisa Powell Sutton. She was an active member of the Madison Beach Club. After her marriage to Robert Clark in 1995, they travelled extensively. Survivors include her husband Robert; her mother, Louisa of Sarasota; sons, Ray Berry Burton, III of Naugatuck, and David VanDorn Sutton Burton of Putnam; and a grandchild. Services are planned for early Spring at the First Congregational Church of Madison, with interment in the church garden.
