SOUTH OGDEN -- Alma Lawrence Day, husband and father, age 57, passed away May 28, 2002 at home, of cancer.
He was born October 8, 1944 in American Fork, Utah.
He is preceded in death by his son, Joel Day and his mother, Lillie Buhler Day.
He is survived by his wife, Kristine, his children: Clysta, Abraham, Jacob, Joshua, Sarah, James, Deborah, William, Hannah Miller, his father, Lawrence E. Day and five grandchildren. Also surviving are seven brothers and sisters, Earl, Sterling, Vaughn, Bruce, Craig, Annette Day and Martha Lunt.
He was a Vietnam Veteran, earning numerous awards and decorations including the Purple Heart. He went on to pursue careers in law enforcement and teaching. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and felt his greatest success was his family. He loved adventure, children, music, current events and reading. We will dearly miss his intellect, influence, and love.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the South Ogden 4th Ward, 4075 Orchard Ave. Friends and family may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, West Valley, Utah
