[1] Gender Male Death 19 Jan 1839 Alexander, Genesee, New York [1] Notes - John Squire, Son of John and Millicent, was born in Ashford, Connecticut on October 13th, 1761. He moved with his parents to Monson, Massachusetts about 1776. He enlisted as a soldier in the Revolutionary War from Monson in 1777 and served several periods of several months each. He married Susanna Riddell in Monson in 1783, and their children were all born there. He, with other relatives, moved to Alexander, Genesee County, New York about 1808, where he was engaged in farming. He applied for pension there in October of 1832. Not much is known of his family after moving to New York. He died there in Alexander on January 19th, 1839. Susanna died there also sometime before this.
