    • From Mormon Pioneer Overland Travel, 1847-1868:
      Martha Heat5on (age 19) departed 29 Jun 1864 with 77 other individuals in the John R. Murdock Company (1864) when it began its journey from the outfitting post at Wyoming, Nebraska (the west bank of the Missouri River about 40 miles south of Omaha). They arrived in the Salt Lake Valley 26 August 1864.


      Marriage to John Boylston Fairbanks was annulled. In Special Collections Films it states that Martha Heaton was born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England.
