      He was affectionately known to his friends as "Tuck" Cole.
      They served a mission after their marriage in Hawaii and stayed until l901. From 1908 to 1922 he was superintendent of the LDS Sugar plantation at Laie on a second mission to Hawaii. He also served for three years on an LDS church ranch in Tooele county. He was a member of the Juab stake high council for several years and served as a missionary to the Manti temple for four years. Mr. Cole served two terms as Nephi city councilman and was assistant postmaster of Nephi for eight years.
      He died at his home of a heart attack.
